Paintings and prints from The Entwined series have been showcased at venues including Yinka Shonibare’s Gallery Guest projects, the Queens Museum of Art in New York, and the Taubman Museum of Art in Virginia, USA.

Part of a triptych, Fragrance and Feminine; Feminine and Prayer; Prayer and Fragrance, this particular hand- embellished print holds exoteric and esoteric meanings for contemplation. Among various symbols, it references the Sufi Farid ud-Din Attar of Nishapur's work from 1221. Attar, meaning apothecary, features in his poetic masterpiece, ‘The Conference of the Birds’, the wise Hoopoe bird who serves as a messenger in the quest to find the legendary Simorgh. The Hoopoe bird holds significance in the courtship of King Solomon and Queen Bilqis. The Cypress Tree symbolizes fragrance, bringing both purifying and grounding qualities, while prayer is represented by the tree's upright frame.
